I just wanted to let you all know due to no additions or moving of images over to the new gallery. But the good thing is that The New Gallery has now reached 60,000 images which is a lot better than the last time I updated you all about how many there were in the gallery. The new planet, currently under development and slated for launch next year, will be an immersive virtual space themed after iconic visuals drawn from Michael’s music, his life and the global issues that concerned him. Entire continents will be created that will celebrate Michael’s unique genius in a way that underscores his place as the greatest artist of all time. Planet Michael is one of the first themed-planets that will be published by SEE Virtual Worlds for the Entropia Universe, a vast dynamic 3D environment created and provided to end users by MindArk PE AB. The Entropia Universe features several existing planets and combines a revolutionary cash economy with cutting-edge graphics. Although Planet Michael is a free-to-download world without monthly subscription fees, the real world in-game economy features gameplay monetization that allows players to take on dozens of different occupations and in certain instances, contribute to a charitable cause at the same time.

UBISOFT’S ‘MICHAEL JACKSON THE EXPERIENCE’ UNVEILS THREE NEW TRACKS
‘Smooth Criminal,’ ‘Black or White’ and ‘They Don’t Care About Us’ Debuting Exclusively at Tokyo Game Show

Ubisoft® revealed three new tracks that players will be able to perform in Michael Jackson The Experience, the video game that allows players to experience the magic of the King of Pop by dancing and singing to some of his biggest hits in environments inspired by his most iconic music videos. The Wii™ version of the game will be playable at the Tokyo Game Show, a consumer and trade show that will take place in Tokyo, Japan from September 16–19. Smooth Criminal, Black or White and They Don’t Care About Us will be available to play for the first time.

Ubisoft Montpellier, in collaboration with Ubisoft Paris has put all of its expertise into crafting Michael Jackson The Experience for the Wii system from Nintendo to match the expectations of Michael Jackson fans across the globe. With multiplayer mode on Wii, fans are never alone as up to three more players can get in on the performance and perform Michael Jackson’s greatest moves together.

Michael Jackson The Experience for Wii will make learning to dance like the ultimate pop icon fun and accessible for everyone. In Michael’s School Mode, players will be able to rehearse before their show, with video training to practice Michael’s most challenging moves in order to pull them off to perfection.

Michael Jackson The Experience for Wii™ will be playable at the Tokyo Game Show at the Ubisoft booth, located at 360m².

Michael Jackson The Experience will be available for Wii™, Nintendo DS™ system and the PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) system on November 23 in North America, November 25 in Europe, Middle East and Asia and pre-orders for PlayStation®Move for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and Microsoft Kinect™ for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, which will be in stores in early 2011.

New Gallery Update
As you all know the gallery is needing re-done due to a problem with uploading on the old one — This is just a little note to let you all know that we currently now have 34,865 images in the new gallery, but you all can still view the old gallery as well.

Pop legend Michael Jackson is still very much in people’s hearts and minds as he gets closer and closer to reaching 20 million subscribers on his Facebook fan page. The page was set up as a tribute to the performer, after his shock death last year. Since then many fans and organizations have used the social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter to keep in touch with each other and stay up to date with all the latest news, such as tribute concerts and events.

On what would have been Michael Jackson’s 52nd birthday, fans gathered throughout the world on Sunday to celebrate and honor MJ! Filmmaker Spike Lee also held the second annual “Brooklyn Loves Michael Jackson” event in Prospect Park, and fans were treated to DJ Spinna on the turntables and a surprise appearance by Snoop Dogg. Vibe.com has published a number of photos from the Brooklyn celebration, and you can get a preview below:
