Michael Jackson’s Moonwalk Glove Auctioned
More than 80 Michael Jackson collectibles — including the late pop star’s famous rhinestone-studded glove from a 1983 performance — were auctioned off Saturday, reaping a total $2 million.
Profits from the auction at the Hard Rock Cafe in New York’s Times Square crushed pre-sale expectations of only $120,000 in sales.
The highly prized memorabilia, which included items spanning the many stages of Jackson’s career, came from more than 30 fans, associates and family members, who contacted Julien’s Auctions to sell their gifts and mementos of the singer.

Michaeljackson.com has launched a rich new Michael Jackson mobile web site featuring news, fan photos and classic videos such as “Billie Jean,” “Beat It,” and the unforgettable “Thriller.” Michael Jackson fans can now access m.michaeljackson.com from their iPhone, iPod Touch, Android G1 and G2, BB Storm and Palm Pre devices, plus other handsets by the end of the month.

Michael Jackson’s ‘This Is It’ will air on MTV Networks in 2011
Michael Jackson’s “This Is It” documentary is coming soon to a TV near you — if you have basic cable.
But you’re going to have wait a little while. MTV has acquired the rights to air the film in 2011, a deal that includes all of the domestic channels under MTV Networks, including VH1, VH1 Classic and Palladia. The arrangement also extends to Viacom’s BET Networks, according to a press release issued by MTV today.

I have noticed lately that a few forums post the pictures I add here for all of the visitors on their forums without giving a link back to the site, I would appreciate it if they did link back as it takes a long while to add them and I offer untagged photos for everyone, when I could easily tag them. But personally I don’t like tags, they make it tough to make graphics and everything, so please if you post the photos elsewhere, link back. Thank you.

Michael Jackson: A Musical Legacy Special New Exhibit at The Grammy Museum
On Oct. 27, 2009 The GRAMMY Museum unveiled its newest special exhibit, Michael Jackson: A Musical Legacy. Residing on the Museum’s fourth floor, the exhibit serves as a follow-up to the earlier Michael Jackson: HIStyle exhibit, which opened in February 2009, and the temporary memorial display, erected just after the King of Pop’s passing.
