About the Videos Section, Some videos aren’t being added at the moment, I am having a bit of trouble trying to upload large files, please be patient. I am working on fixing it along with the help from my wonderful host.
As you all may have seen on MSNBC or other channels The Michael Jackson Tapes is a book being released, along with the tapes which you can find on youtube. Michael Jackson sneak peek screenings sell out in 2 hours
LOS ANGELES (AP) – Michael Jackson is still playing to sellout crowds.Advance screenings to the music documentary
“Michael Jackson: This Is It” sold out within two hours early Sunday as fans who began lining up three days earlier snapped up all 3,000 tickets to the Los Angeles shows.The documentary opens nationwide Oct. 28, but fans will get a sneak peek the night before in screenings at the new Regal Cinemas Stadium 14. For the theater’s grand opening, the cinema will show “This Is It” on all 14 screens that night.
Directed by longtime Jackson collaborator Kenny Ortega, “This Is It” draws on hundreds of hours of footage as Jackson prepared for a series of London concerts for which he was rehearsing before his death on June 25.

Los Angeles, CA (September 27, 2009) – Since 5PM on Thursday, hundreds of avid Michael Jackson fans had lined up for the opportunity to purchase tickets for the special showings of Michael Jackson’s THIS IS IT at the Regal Cinemas L.A. LIVE on October 27. Shortly after midnight on Sunday, September 27th, they got what they were waiting for, as they purchased their tickets to the special screenings of Michael Jackson’s THIS IS IT at Regal Cinemas LA LIVE.L.A. LIVE was the only place in Southern California to purchase tickets to the special showings of Michael Jackson THIS IS IT, at the new Regal Cinemas L.A. LIVE Stadium 14 theatres. The showings of Michael Jackson’s THIS IS IT on October 27th will mark the grand opening of Regal Cinemas L.A. LIVE Stadium 14 theatres.
For over three days, NOKIA plaza at L.A. LIVE served as the headquarters for all Michael Jackson fans. In addition the Michael Jackson THIS IS IT tribute walls where fans signed messages, fans on-hand were entertained by some of Southern California’s favorite radio stations, watched a graffiti artist create a mural of Michael Jackson, participated in a Michael Jackson look-a-like contest, and were taught the dance steps to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” video by instructors affiliated with “Thrill the World Los Angeles” and much more.
Fans who camped out in Nokia Plaza L.A. LIVE also received commemorative VIP credentials. The first 500 people in line who purchased two tickets received an authentic, one-of-a-kind THIS IS IT lenticularly-printed ticket inspired and designed by Michael Jackson for the London concerts.

“I’ve never seen anything like it in the 25 years I have been film buying,” says UK ExhibitorCULVER CITY, Calif., September 28, 2009 – Sony Pictures Entertainment, in conjunction with Sony Music Entertainment, today announced that the first 24-hours of pre-sales activity for Michael Jackson’s This Is It has resulted in record-breaking sales throughout the world as fans secure the first tickets to the two-week, limited engagement of the highly-anticipated motion picture.
With reports still coming in from nations around the world, it is believed no movie in history has generated so many ticket sales so far in advance of its release.
In North America, online ticket sellers Fandango and MovieTickets.com report that there is extraordinary demand for the film with hundreds of showtimes already sold out after one day of pre-sales. Some 80% of all online ticketing service transactions were for the film, which will debut in some markets with special advance showings the evening of Tuesday, October 27 and will open worldwide on Wednesday, October 28. The film is directed by long-time Jackson collaborator Kenny Ortega.
Domestically, an unprecedented number of shows for the two-week engagement have sold out in the first 24 hours of ticket availability in locations from coast-to-coast, including such cities as Los Angeles, San Francisco, Houston, Nashville and New York, among others. Internationally, exhibitors from London and Sydney to Bangkok and Tokyo have experienced the same epic demand.
In London, Vue Entertainment’s Film Buying Director Stuart Boreman said Michael Jackson’s This Is It sold more than 30,000 tickets in its first 24-hours, setting the biggest ever one-day sales record in the UK, eclipsing advance buying for films including Harry Potter and The Lord of the Rings. “I’ve never seen anything like it in the 25 years I have been film buying,” Boreman said. “It’s a true phenomenon and sales show no sign of slowing down.”
In the United States, more than 500,000 fans performed searches for showtimes on the official www.thisisit-movie.com website. Online buzz for Michael Jackson’s This Is It was 60 percent higher Sunday than for any other upcoming film.

Unreleased Michael Jackson Song “This Is It” To Be Unveiled October 12th

On October 12th, the first new Michael Jackson song to emerge since the world mourned the loss of this musical icon will be released – a brand new single entitled “This Is It.” Soon after, Sony Music Entertainment’s Columbia/Epic Label Group will release the two-disc album This Is It featuring the music that inspired Sony Pictures’ forthcoming film MICHAEL JACKSON’S THIS IS IT. This two-disc album will be available internationally on October 26th and North America on October 27th to coincide with the worldwide release of the motion picture which arrives in theaters on October 28th and runs for a limited two-week engagement.“This song only defines, once again, what the world already knows – that Michael is one of God’s greatest gifts, “ comments John McClain, co-producer of the album.
Disc one will feature the original album masters of some of Michael’s biggest hits arranged in the same sequence as they appear in the film. The disc ends with two versions of the never-released “This Is It.” This song is featured in the film’s closing sequence and includes backing vocals by Michael’s brothers, the Jacksons.
Disc two offers previously unreleased versions of some of the artist’s classic tracks. This disc also features a touching spoken word poem from Michael Jackson entitled “Planet Earth” that has never been heard before.
The two-disc This is It is a stand-alone companion to the motion picture and includes a 36-page, commemorative booklet featuring exclusive photos of Michael from his last rehearsal.

New Gallery Look.
I have edited the gallery theme a bit, a more colorful? I hope look. The image is now longer and has color instead of half grayscale and not so colorful. I really hope you all enjoy it. And I hope I understood Michelle
To my site I think this great, I would like if the bottom of the gallery has more color, just that.
I hope that is what you were meaning, how the image didn’t go on for long enough at the bottom, so there wasn’t much color colliding with the categories and such.

‘The Making of Janet Jackson’s VMA Tribute Performance’ airs Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday on MTV.
It was one of the most memorable and touching moments from Sunday night’s Video Music Awards: Janet Jackson and a crew of renowned choreographers dancing alongside images of Michael Jackson from his 1995 video with his sister, “Scream,” in tribute to the late pop icon.The process was an emotional one for Janet, who shared her story in the special “The Making of Janet Jackson’s VMA Tribute Performance,” which aired Saturday (September 19), and re-airs Sunday at 12:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., and Tuesday at 7 p.m. on MTV.“I know he was watching. I know he was looking down,” Jackson said of the performance. “I hope he enjoyed it.”

Michael Jackson’s This Is It
The DVD/Blu-ray release will contain the theatrical version in its entirety and a second DVD/Blu-ray disc containing over 2 hours of Jackson performing, warming up his vocals, and performing in full costume. It is presumed it will be released by the end of 2009.[citation needed] A CD soundtrack will be released after the movie to coincide with the DVD/Blu-ray release and will contain a new song recorded in the last two years of Jackson’s life.

Did you all see the VMA’s? Wonderful performance by Janet. She literally had me speechless. What was the highlight of the night for all of you? The Trailer aired for the ‘This Is It’ movie and to me it looks like the best masterpiece anyone could have put together.

Unforgettable Thriller Dance in Mexico City, Breaks Record
On August 29th, fans in Mexico City came together for a thrilling weekend to celebrate what would have been Michael Jackson’s 51st birthday. Two massive tributes were organized to show respect and love for the invaluable music career and legacy Michael left, as well to honor the unforgettable visit he made to México back in 1993.
